The Romance of Roadside Chai Culture
In India, chai isn't just a beverage—it's a ritual, a conversation starter, a moment of pause in the chaos of daily life. The humble glass tumbler represents democracy in the truest sense: everyone from executives to rickshaw drivers drinks from the same type of glass at the chai stall.
Now you can recreate that authentic experience at home. Imagine pouring steaming chai from this gorgeous kettle into those classic tumblers, the glass warm against your palms, the familiar clink as you set it down. It's sensory, it's authentic, it's pure comfort.
More Than Teaware—It's Cultural Heritage
This kettle isn't hidden in a cabinet. It lives on your stovetop or tea station, a constant reminder that beautiful things should be used, not stored away. The coral and turquoise palette brightens any kitchen, and the handpainted details invite closer inspection every single time.
Guests always notice. They'll ask where you got it. They'll want to know the story. And you'll pour them chai from this stunning kettle, serving it in those authentic tumblers, and suddenly you're not just serving tea—you're sharing an experience.
The Dastkaari Commitment to Authenticity
Each kettle is individually handpainted by skilled Indian artisans using techniques passed down through generations. The slight variations in painting aren't imperfections—they're proof that human hands created this, that an artisan took time and care to make your piece unique.
When you buy from Dastkaari, you're not just getting teaware. You're supporting traditional crafts, empowering artisan communities, and keeping cultural heritage alive. You're voting with your wallet for a world where beauty, function, and fair trade coexist.

Purchased 3 pet bowls from you at the Baltimore comic con. They are Christmas presents for my daughter. I am wrapping the gifts right now when I discovered the blue with yellow and blue flowers rubber edging is way too small. There is a 2 inch gap. The bowl is 6 inches wide at the bottom. Is there any way I can exchange it for another?
I met Mitushi at the Christmas Carousel Holiday Gift Market in Raleigh this past weekend. I had the opportunity to see so many of her beautiful pieces of art. After consulting with my daughter and son-in-law, I chose a beautiful Moroccan Tea Pot for my son-in-law's mom. Mitushi had so many beautiful and functional pieces to choose from and she was so helpful in explaining what each of the items was and she told me how to make Turkish coffee! I cannot wait to give this gift!
