Is this bowl dishwasher safe?
Yes they can be added to the colf cycle of the dishwasher (top rack). But it is highly recommended to hand wash only to protect the hand-painted design and extend the life of the finish.

Yes — the elastic/rubber ring grips the base of the bowl and is designed to prevent sliding on tile, hardwood, and other smooth surfaces.
Is this bowl suitable for both indoor and outdoor use?

The ring that comes with the bowl is complimentary but if the ring breaks within the first 30 days of purchase, I will send you another ring for free. But beyond that the rings can be purchased.
